Harmonizing the World
Today is International Women's Day: a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. So on this day we want to celebrate all of the female barbershop community, with Sweet Adelines International being a very important part of that community. SAI was founded in 1945 with the purpose of bringing together women who loved to sing, and developing the musical art form of barbershop. From just a small group of women to a global organization of around 22 000 women, and Rönninge Show Chorus have been a part of this organization for 35 years.
The all female organizations that exist within the barbershop world are truly amazing and empowering.
So on this day, the International Women's Day, let's celebrate ourselves and each other. Because we - the female barbershop community - are absolutely amazing.
